APIL - fighting for you

APIL is a not for profit organisation, established over 18 years ago to support injured people by fighting for their rights and campaigning for access to justice.

Our national consumer programme is designed to:
  • Offer routes to legal remedy for those injured as a result of someone else’s negligence
  • Prevent injury, wherever possible, drawing on the expertise and experiences of APIL lawyers and their clients
  • Provide information, guidance and support to people who have been injured
  • Raise awareness of individuals' rights and responsibilities

Our programme of work is funded by committed APIL members through subscriptions from committed personal injury lawyers in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Europe and further afield.

APIL is dedicated to supporting injured people and their families.

Since 1990 our objectives remain:

  • To promote full and just compensation for all types of personal injury
  • To promote and develop expertise in the practice of personal injury law
  • To promote wider redress for personal injury in the legal system
  • To campaign for improvements in personal injury law
  • To promote safety and alert the public to hazards wherever they arise
