Karl Tonks is the president of not-for-profit campaign group the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
A solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience, Karl has particular expertise in accidents at work and industrial disease.
Karl completed his law degree at Manchester University and then attended Guildford College of Law.
He is a partner at Fentons Solicitors where he is head of employer’s liability.
In 2011 he was invited to join the Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors. He is also a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association.
Outside of work Karl enjoys hill walking and music.
