I have spent my professional career acting for clients who have been injured following an accident or through clinical negligence. In more serious cases whilst the devasting effect of an injury cannot be reversed, compensation should be provided to reduce the impact on the injured person's life as much as possible.  

Currently I am very much involved with clinical negligence and personal injury matters causing serious and life changing injuries. These include acting for families with children with cerebral palsy folowing an injury at birth, or within a short period thereafter, the effects of which are far reaching. My practice is one of the few to hold a legal aid franchise to fund these claims and I am pleased to be a part of this.

Rehabiliation is so important and I do my utmost to ensure rehabilitation is provided at the earliest opportunity. I have acted for many clients over the years who have suffered a range of injuries whether a traumatic brain injury or a devastating physical and life changing  injury.  With support I have seen very seriously injured individuals return to work or make their way through university, previoulsy something they thought could not be possible. 

It has been said I am tenacious, I wouldn't disagree. I have always strived to gain the most for my clients, an aspiration which is endorsed by APIL, and you have to work hard to get it.

I retain an interest in equestrian related matters, having been a keen rider mysefl, which helps sort the good from the hopeless cases, as we all know riding carries its own risk of injury.
