The Journal of Personal Injury Law (JPIL) is recruiting a new editorial board member.
Published by Sweet & Maxwell in association with APIL, JPIL is designed to inform, educate and influence lawyers, academics and those working in the personal injury claims sector.
Ideally, the successful applicant will be either an academic lawyer or legal practitioner with an interest in the issues and subject matter of concern to JPIL’s professional and academic readers.
Editorial board members are expected to attend four meetings a year: two in person in London and two ‘virtual’ meetings by video conference. The meetings usually take half a day. Board members are expected to contribute up to eight case comments a year (as directed by the case and comment editors) and commission three articles on subjects which are usually discussed and directed by the board members. This is a paid position and some of the other benefits include a gratis subscription to the journal.
The aim is for the new board member to be appointed by the end of March 2019.
Applicants apply with a CV no later than Thursday 31st January 2019.
