About Andrew McGowan
Andrew is Head of the NeuroTrauma Claims unit at Sintons Law, having joined from Irwin Mitchell. He has over 28 years' experience helping clients after they have suffered injuries as a result of an accident, with particular experience and expertise helping clients who have sustained serious life changing injuries.
Andrew's main area of expertise surrounds helping people after they have sustained a serious brain injury. He has helped many clients in the very early stages after an injury, often when they are still in hospital, and has helped to organise discharge home, ensuring that this process runs as smoothly as possible.
Andrew believes the most important thing to consider following a brain injury is early assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. His main priority is to ensure that his clients receive the best care available, in order for them to achieve the best recovery and quality of life possible.
Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, Andrew puts his clients' needs at the heart of everything he does; ensuring a bespoke and tailored care plan is put in place as quickly as possible. He has worked alongside many healthcare professionals and has access to many specialists which helps him to arrange the correct treatment for his clients' individual needs.
Andrew also strives to help the families of his clients and understands the stress and strain they can be put under when their loved ones have been injured. He looks to put in place support for them, for example, to alleviate financial troubles they may be having.
