About Dawn McCafferty

Dawn joined Digby Brown in 2008 having graduated from Strathclyde University in 2000. She qualified as a solicitor and notary public in 2002. Dawn is a Partner in our insurance litigation department and deals with accidents on the road, at work, occupier and public liability claims as well as fatal accidents.

Dawn has considerable experience of cases both in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session; has developed a noticeable track record of conducting and winning Proofs in both and has a particular expertise in Employer Liability cases, becoming one of the leading practitioners within the firm.

Dawn has taught civil litigation to graduate students at Glasgow University and in addition to being an accredited Fellow with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers is an accredited Specialist Practitioner in Personal Injury Law with the Law Society of Scotland.
