About Emma Hall
Emma Hall is a senior solicitor in the consumer law and product safety team at Leigh Day.
Emma joined Michelle Victor’s team at Leigh Day in 2014 and works as part of the team who represent over 600 UK claimants who have undergone early revision surgery due to the early failure of their ASR metal-on-metal hip components. Emma has gained extensive experience in this area and acts on behalf of some ASR claimants who have sustained catastrophic injuries as a result of the premature failure of their ASR components.
Emma is recognised for her litigious approach to secure the highest damages possible for her clients and fights to ensure justice is seen to be done. Emma is also known for her compassionate client care skills and her calm and understanding approach to clients who find litigation a daunting and difficult process.
Emma also has a keen interest in sport, especially running, cycling and skiing and has successfully pursued claims for substandard sports equipment such as helmets which have led to brain and spinal injuries, and also has a keen interest in pursuing claims for vitamin / energy products which contain banned performance-enhancing drugs. As a keen sports-person herself, Emma is eager to see tighter and more stringent regulations surrounding the safety of gym and sports equipment in the UK and worldwide.
Prior to joining Leigh Day, Emma gained extensive experience in running high value quantum clinical negligence claims, including fatal accident and catastrophic injury claims. She developed strong litigation experience, taking a number of high value cases to trial.
Emma is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is accredited as a litigator by APIL.
