About Emma Potter
I have many years of experience representing adults and children who have been seriously injured, no matter how the accident has happened. This can cover complex orthopedic injuries and trauma to head injury and amputation cases.
My particular specialism is chronic pain conditions (the physical and psychological aspects) and in particular Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and functional neurological disorders (FND).
Securing early rehabilitation and financial help is crucial. It is important to work with my client and often their families, to understand what is in their best interests and what they want and need out of pursuing a serious injury claim.
I am also interested in accidents at work and the associated health and safety issues. I also act for bereaved families in fatality claims and Inquest proceedings.
I am quite happy to take over cases from other firms of solicitors.
I am a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
