About Helen Goatley

I have been qualified as a solicitor since 1990 and, since my earliest days in the profession, have specialised in representing people recovering from catastrophic injury - particularly where brain injury is involved.  I enjoy helping all sorts of people rebuild their lives and am a passionate advocate of early rehabilitation funded by insurers.  I understand the critical importance of families in this and seek to build relationships of trust and respect with parents of children, or adult children of elderly victims.  I like my clients to feel in control rather than controlled by the legal process and see it as my job to teach and educate as we go through the journey together.  These days I tend to be the senior lawyer on a team working for each of my clients, responsible for high level strategy and helping my clients make the most important decisions within their case.
