Injury lawyer - senior litigator

About Ian Latimer

I am a solicitor with 40 years' post qualification experience and a partner in the Personal Injury Department of Taylor Rose MW. I have expertise in acting for clients in a wide range of large complex claims involving life-changing injuries and fatalities as a result of road and ship collisions and workplace accidents.

My skills are recognised by APIL with whom I have senior litigator status and I have been mentioned for my work in Legal 500.

I am committed and have the patience and drive to get to the root of a case and succeed. I am approachable and build strong relationships with those I represent.

Examples: I have secured settlements of £6.5 million and £3.7 million for passengers injured in road accidents, an award of £500,000 for a client who was diagnosed with a work related upper limb disorder, and six figure settlements in injuries and fatalities as a result of ship and road collisions and workplace accidents.

Reported Court of Appeal case - Hatton v Sutherland (2001) - Leading stress at work case.
