About James Pink
I am a Solicitor in the Irwin Mitchell Medical Negligence Team in Bristol. I act on behalf of a range individuals, both adults and children, to assist in securing compensation following negligence by hospital trusts, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
I have experience in a range of medical claims including orthopedic injury, birthing injury, delay in diagnosis, negligently performed surgery, spinal injury, brain injury and fatalities. I have particular interest in bowel and pancreatic injuries.
I work closely with clients and their families to ensure they receive treatment to support their recovery and specialist medical opinion to support their claim.
I also have experience of representing individuals following serious road traffic accidents.
I am heavily involved in Irwin Mitchell’s business development and CSR indicatives. I work with and support a number of Bristol based charities including CP Plus, Gympanzees, Access Sport, Boccia England and WECIL. I have particular interest and expertise in Boccia and I lead and volunteer at the Irwin Mitchell Bristol Boccia club which runs every Friday at Henbury Leisure Centre. I also provide Boccia sessions to local SEN schools and charities.
I love the challenge my legal career brings and the ability to help others. The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that what I do can make a positive difference to someone's life and wellbeing.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, attending music events and attempting to play golf.
I also like to challenge myself and raise money for charity. I have done a skydive, abseil x2, half marathon and a sponsored sleep out.
