About Julie Hardy

I have dealt with clinical negligence cases on behalf of Claimants since qualifying as a solicitor in 1995.  I joined Nelsons Solicitors as a Partner in January 2024.  I have spent my whole career working in Nottingham, although I act for clients all over the country.

I deal with all clinical negligence claims, but specialise in cases involving brain injuries suffered by babies at birth, or in childhood.  I also deal with many cases involving surgical errors.  I enjoy the interesting and challenging work that I do, and the opportunity to help people to rebuild their lives after what are often devastating injuries.

I have been a Member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence panel for over 20 years and am also a specialist soilicitor on the Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) panel.  In  2014 I was delighted to be accredited by APIL as one of their Clinical Negligence Specialists, meaning that I am on all 3 of the specialist panels.
