About Kevin Grealis
Kevin specialises in crossover cases, i.e where a clinical negligence claim is superimposed on a personal injury claim.
With more than 30 years of experience, Kevin was ranked in Band 1 of Chambers (2010) and described as an "all round personal injury and clinical negligence specialist" by that publication. Chambers 2013 comment that Kevin is "held in high regard" by fellow practitioners. The 2013 edition of The Legal 500 described Kevin as "meticulous" with a "great eye for detail."
In recent years Kevin has concentrated on dealing with “crossover” cases where there has been an accident or assault which has then been complicated by medical treatment and there are often multiple defendants involved. This is very different from most other solicitors even those solicitors that specialise in a combination of personal injury and clinical negligence; they will have cases where they have a personal injury claim (for example a road traffic accident case) and a separate caseload of clinical negligence cases (for example cerebral palsy clients) but not cases which feature both. Kevin recently had an article published in “Clinical Risk” entitled “the Double Whammy” in which he explained in more detail the work that he does.
Kevin is current Joint Coordinator of the London Regional Group and Past National Coordinator of Clinical Negligence Special Interest Group, the Brain Injury Special Interest Group and the Child Special Interest Group.
