I am a Principal Lawyer specialising in public inquiries, abuse law and human rights at human rights at Slater & Gordon (UK) Ltd. I am an accredited APIL Senior Litigator.

As a Principal Lawyer in the abuse team at Slater and Gordon I act for victims of physical and sexual abuse including claims against schools, hospitals, the Ministry of Defence, sporting clubs including football and gymnastics, the Scouts, local authorities and religious institutions. I am regularly instructed via the Official Solicitor to investigate potential 'failure to protect'? cases on behalf of children under the care of the Local Authority. I represent a number of Survivor Core Participants in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) over a number of modules.

I represent families in Article 2 Inquests arising out of deaths in prison or other state institutions and also in associated Human Rights Act civil claims.

I am a member of the editorial board of JPIL. I provide comment for the legal press including LexisNexis, New Law Journal, Justice Gap and PILJ and have written on Abuse Law, Modern Slavery and Human Rights as well as general personal injury law matters and civil litigation.
