About Kirsty O'Donnell

Kirsty graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Honours Degree in Law with French in 2007, spending her third year reading French Civilian Law at the Université de Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France. Returning to Scotland, Kirsty attained Diploma in Legal Practice from the Glasgow Graduate School of Law in 2008.

She joined Digby Brown in 2010 as a personal injury solicitor and became an Associate in 2015. Kirsty works in the Digby Brown Glasgow office.

Kirsty specialises in workplace accident and road traffic accident claims. She works in the serious injury team within the firm specialising in brain and spinal injuries, fatal accidents and amputation cases. She has advocacy experience in the Sheriff Courts including conducting Diets of Proof. A high proportion of cases are raised in the Court of Session giving valuable experience in this higher forum and has regular dealings with senior and junior counsel.

Kirsty has the Senior Litigator Standard and is an accredited personal injury specialist for the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury by the Law Society of Scotland. She is also a tutor for the Glasgow University Diploma in Legal Practice in Civil Litigation and a member of the Legal 40 at Glasgow University.
