About Mark Gibson

Mark is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law and is recognised as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is a partner of Digby Brown LLP, Scotland's largest litigation firm and winner of the Litigation Firm of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards. Mark heads up Digby Brown's Foreign and Travel, Product Liability and Consumer Law departments. His areas of specialisation include: accidents abroad, product liability, workplace litigation, fatal accidents, public liability, occupier's liability and road traffic law. He is an APIL accredited Accidents and Illnesses Abroad Specialist and Assessor. He is experienced in handling referrals and correspondent work alongside non-specialist firms. He regularly presents both in-house legal education seminars and external training for the legal profession in conjunction with providers such as CLT. Mark has an LLB Hons Degree with Spanish Language from the University of Glasgow. He also studied law at la Universidad de Granada in Spain. He speaks basic level Italian and Spanish. Prior to Digby Brown, he worked in law firms in Hong Kong, Australia and Ayrshire. He was a tutor of Commercial and Principles of Private Law at the University of Glasgow for 3 years. His interests include Rugby, football, golf and food.
