About Michelle Cresswell

Michelle is a Senior Associate Solicitor at CFG Law, having joined as a trainee solicitor in 2007. She deals with many complex accident claims, including occupiers’ liability claims, road traffic accidents and accidents at work. Having worked at CFG for all of her career, Michelle has developed in her role, and her way of working encompasses what the firm is all about – putting clients’ needs first. She is committed to helping clients through the services offered by CFG Law.

Michelle leads a team of subtle brain injury solicitors. Her work involves implementing head injury pathways, with the aim of ensuring clients gain access to early clinical assessment and intervention and put in place an appropriate treatment plan at the earliest convenience. Subtle brain injuries can often be misdiagnosed or misunderstood, yet the symptoms people can suffer from are far from subtle. Michelle ensures our clients have access to the support and treatment they need following injury, and which can very often be difficult to access otherwise.

Michelle has dealt with many cases where liability is firmly denied and fights tirelessly to secure an admission of liability and the maximum amount of compensation available to her clients, considering all aspects of their claim.

A key skill held by Michelle is to understand what is most important to her clients. She believes it is important not to normalise clients’ injuries and understands how life-changing they can be and the impact they have had on each individual client and their family. It is vital to understand each client’s needs are different. Michelle is accommodating and sympathetic with her clients, always ensuring their needs and their family’s needs are met and at the forefront of everything she does.
