About Natalie Cosgrove

Natalie runs her own caseload of medical negligence cases as well as providing assistance to Director Janet Baker on cerebral palsy and maximum severity brain injury cases as well as inquests.  She also has an interest in business development, assisting with the marketing of the department and the firm.

Natalie qualifed as a Barrister in 2008 and cross qualified as a Solicitor in 2011.  She has specialisted in clinical negligence since 2011.  Natalie joined Switalskis Solicitors in November 2016 along with other members of the Clinical Neglignece team in Sheffield.

As a professional dedicated to supporting local causes, Natalie commits much of her spare time to working with a range of South Yorkshire-based charities and not-for-profit organisations.  Current voluntary roles include Ambassador for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice and Trustee for Sheffield Mencap and Gateway.  She is also the Honorary Secretary of the Sheffield and District Law Society and Vice President of the Yorkshire Union of Law Societies.
