About Nigel Cordwell
Nigel Cordwell was admitted in England and Wales as a solicitor in 1987 and moved home to the Isle of Man in 1996 when he requalified and was called to the Manx Bar. He is often cited as being the Isle of Man’s most experienced medical and injury lawyer. He is a fellow of APIL and the most senior APIL Practitioner in practice within the jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man.
He has a wide practice and reference to the Isle of Man Law Reports cite his involvement in a number of key cases that made significant changes to Manx personal injury law reflecting in particular where developments in Isle of Man law have diverged from the path taken in England and Wales.
