Rakhi is a leading Personal Injury Solicitor with in-depth experience in dealing with claims including road traffic, motorcycle and fatal collision claims, chronic pain, and public and employer liability claims.
Her main specialism is in disputed motorcycle collision claims.
She specialises in moderate to severe brain injuries involving neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, poly-trauma, shoulder/clavicle fractures and complex knee injuries.
Rakhi focusses on the needs of the client and ensures they are in the centre of the rehabilitation process when dealing with third parties, case managers and treatment providers. She is committed to achieving the best outcome in every case.
Rakhi joined a Tier 4 Legal 500 City Centre firm in 1998, initially heading up a Costs Department. She began practising as a Personal Injury Lawyer in 2000 before qualifying as a Solicitor in January 2007, becoming an Associate in 2010 and then appointed a Partner in that firm in 2013. She joined Irwin Mitchell LLP in January 2023.
She has extensive experience in conducting claims from obtaining initial instructions, through to instructing multi-discipline experts, working with case managers and Counsel, and undertaking advocacy at Interlocutory and disposal Hearings.
Aside from work, Rakhi is Chair of the Manchester Young Professionals Netball League and Chair of the North West Committee of the Association of Asian Women Lawyers.
