About Sam Collard
Sam is a Partner and head of cycling accident claims within Osbornes' Personal Injury team. More generally Sam is a catastrophic injury lawyer specialising in complex and high value claims, including; brain and spinal injuries, fatalities, loss of limbs and severe psychiatric harm.
Sam qualified as a solicitor in 2011, became an Associate in 2016 and a Partner in July 2021. He has built up a wealth of experience acting for claimants in employers' liability, public liability, and road traffic accident claims. Sam has also developed productive relationships with many of the leading personal injury barristers in London.
Sam runs his own caseload of high-value claims including several claims valued at over £1million. He believes strongly in seeking justice for his clients by offering clear and concise legal advice.
Some of Sam's recent cases include:
- Acting for a Romanian man in his 40s who suffered an above knee amputation whilst working at a recycling depot in Manchester
- Representing a man who suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of an accident whilst riding his bike in North London
- Representing the family of a young man who was killed as a result of a road traffic accident on a dual carriage way in West London
- Acting in a Fatal Accidents Act claim for the wife and dependants of a man in his 50s who died following an accident at a warehouse near Heathrow airport
Sam is an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator, and Fatal Accidents Specialist.
In his spare time Sam enjoys playing football, cycling, and being given the run around by his two young daughters.
