About Sam Collard
Sam is an Associate in Osbornes' Catastrophic Injury Department, who specialises in complex and high value claims, including brain and spinal injuries, fatalities, loss of limbs and severe psychiatric harm.
Sam qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and became an Associate in 2016. He has built up a wealth of experience acting for Claimants in Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident cases. Sam has also developed productive relationships with many of the leading Personal Injury barristers in London.
Sam runs his own case load of high value claims including several claims valued at over £1million. He believes strongly in seeking justice for his clients by offering clear and concise legal advice.
Some of Sam's recent cases include:
- Representing a young professional who suffered a traumatic brain injury following a RTA and is now unable to pursue her chosen career;
- Being part of the Osbornes Catastrophic Injuries team representing the husband of the only female victim of the Croydon Tram crash;
- Acting for a man who suffered a below knee amputation following an accident on a construction site whilst at work;
- Acting for the partner and children of a man in his 40s who was killed in a road traffic accident in 2018;
Sam is an APIL Accredited Senior Litigator.
In his spare time Sam enjoys playing football, cycling and being given the run around by his two young daughters.
