About Sarah Downs

I specialise in adult brain injury and spinal cord injury claims. I have assisted on a number of cases where we have obtained substantial interim payments in order to implement rehabilitation packages to assist with our client’s recovery. Within our team, we understand the importance of early rehabilitation and work hard to ensure that the appropriate therapy is in place to ensure the best recovery possible.  I am also a member of the Headway North Derbyshire committee. 

I first joined Irwin Mitchell LLP in June 2008 where I gained experience working on the Legal Helpline, before securing a paralegal position within the Product Liability team in Sheffield. During my training, I gained experience in a number of different areas of law before qualifying as a Solicitor in the Serious Injury Team.
