About Siobhan Thomas
I am a Partner in the Serious Injury Team at Hugh James, working in the Southampton office.
I specialise in serious injuries, specifically acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and serious complex orthopaedic injuries, acting for both adults and children. My experience includes dealing with many multi-million pound cases, civil trials and hearings in both the High Court in London and the Court of Appeal. I have particular expertise in paediatric brain injuries.
Many of my clients have experienced a traumatic event which can be a difficult and challenging time for them and their loved ones and can often be life changing. I help clients to unravel and understand what can be a complicated and stressful process. I act with compassion to develop genuine relationships with each client, and help them secure funding by way of interim payments for treatment, as well as compensation for their injuries and future rehabilitation needs.
I have developed relationships with barristers, leading KCs and experts to build the best possible case with the appropriate legal expertise.
