About Tim Annett

I am a Partner in Irwin Mitchell's Group Actions and Product Liability team. I have worked exclusively for claimants in relation medical negligence cases and related areas of the law for over 20 years. I now specialise in group actions, particularly those arising from defective products and medical negligence. This includes medical devices, cosmetic treatments, consumer and sporting goods. I have a particular interest in claims arising from contamined human growth hormone leading to CJD. I also have experience of inquests, inquiries, and claims under the ABPI guidelines for injuries arising during clinical trials.

I am accredited by APIL as a Senior Litigator and Fatal Accidents specialist, as well as being accedited by AvMA as a clinical negligence specialist. I am highly ranked in Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 for claimant product liability work.
