I am a senior solicitor at Fletchers Solicitors Medical Negligence Serious Injury Unit based in Manchester.  I conduct complex cases for clients throughout England an Wales and have done so since 1986.

I am the Chief Assessor for the Law Society's specilaist clinical negligence panel.  I was an assessor since its inception in 1994. I am also a member of the AVMA charity panel.  I was chair of FOCIS ( Forum of Complex Injury Solicitors ) for 2 years and am a Fellow of APIL.

I have been the lead solicitor in group actions against the Ministry of Defence and in repect of pharmaceutical claims. I have successfully conducted brain and spinal injury claims and had a major role in leading cases on retainers (Blankley v Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS trust) and the indexation of Periodical Payments Orders (Thompstone v Tameside NHS Foundation Trust).

I am often asked to speak to lawyers and doctors alike at very presentations. I am keen to maintian a philosophy of a personal relationship with the client on their case.
