About Victoria Berger
I am an associate solicitor in the brain injury team at RWK Goodman, based in Bath. I specialise in brain and spinal injuries. I have worked in the team since November 2015. Prior to that time, I worked for a national law firm in Bristol.
I am a dual-qualified lawyer, having first qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2005 and then completing the Legal Practice Course to qualify as a Solicitor in 2010.
I have worked in all aspects of personal injury work since 2001, acting for numerous clients and gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in road accidents, employer’s liability and public liability cases as well as supervising individuals and teams working in these areas. I began to specialise in brain injury cases in 2012 and I have worked in this area since, having developed a particular passion and interest for this work.
I have experience of litigation through to trial as well as alternative dispute resolution through joint settlement meetings and mediation.
I have a particular interest in alternative therapies for brain injured clients and access to education for young people after brain injury.
Experience
Some of my notable successes include:
- Recovering £1,000,000 for a teenager who sustained a traumatic brain injury following an accident
- Recovering over £1,100,000 for a client who was injured at work and who sustained a brain injury as well as other complex injuries
- Recovering over £150,000 for a cyclist who sustained a mild traumatic brain injury
- Assisting in the recovery of over £2,000,000 for a cyclist who sustained a brain injury after being hit by a car
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family including long walks and chasing my young son around the soft play.
