Membership Services Officer
The role
APIL is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual interested in providing excellent administrative support to a busy membership team. As a Membership Services Officer, you will deliver excellent customer service and engage with professionals and members of the public by telephone, letter, email, and website chat. You will be proactive and solution focussed and support the team in the recruitment and retention of members and experts. The membership services team collaborate with internal teams and the personal injury sector and are committed to develop new ways of working to ensure they deliver the best possible service/outcomes for all.
You
You will be able to demonstrate strong written, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to deal patiently, professionally and with empathy and kindness at all times. You will be a team player, also able to work independently and committed to continuous improvement.
Good organisational, customer service skills with attention to detail are very important as you will be required to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and the standards expected of you. If you have a legal background or knowledge of the personal injury legal sector that would also be helpful.
You will be conversant with Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
