An Edinburgh solicitor is taking on a top role for a not-for-profit organisation which campaigns for the rights of injured people.
Gordon Dalyell is the new vice president of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) which is dedicated to improving the law for people made ill or injured through no fault of their own.
“Now is a critical time for injured people and it is essential that we provide them with a much-needed voice,” said Gordon. “We must be particularly vigilant that the rights of people injured at work are protected as Britain leaves the European Union.”
“I am looking forward to meeting these challenges and being involved in APIL’s vital work ensuring that the interests of injured people are protected during such change, as well as campaigning for improvements in the law.”
Gordon specialises in workplace, road traffic accident and fatal injury claims, as well as claims for miscarriages of justice.
