A local lawyer has been elected onto the national executive committee of an organisation which campaigns for justice for injured people.

Neil McKinley will join the executive committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and help lead the 3,500-strong membership.

Neil said: “It’s an honour to have been elected as part of the executive committee having been a longstanding member of APIL for over twenty-five years and an executive committee member in the past from 1998 until 2001.”

“My aim as a member and Fellow of APIL has always been to lobby for the organisation and I will use the opportunities and knowledge open to me in this position to support my fellow lawyers and fight for claimants to ensure that they get the appropriate compensation.”

Neil McKinley is a leading personal injury solicitor at JMP Solicitors.
