A local lawyer has been elected onto the national executive committee of an organisation which campaigns for justice for injured people.

Kim Harrison will join the executive committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and help lead the 3,500-strong membership.

“I look forward to being a part of APIL’s executive committee,” said Kim. “I stood for this role so I could bring my specialist knowledge of civil abuse claims, industrial disease cases, expertise on inquests and associated human rights work to the table. I am committed to helping strengthen and develop the education, learning and development work APIL provides to personal injury lawyers to ensure injured people get the help that they so desperately need when they have been injured through no fault of their own.”

Kim is a personal injury lawyer at Slater and Gordon in Manchester.
