Michelle Hartshorn

In 1992 Michelle attended Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne where she successfully obtained her LLB (Hons) Law Degree.  Following her studies, Michelle joined a local law firm where she undertook her training contract before successfully qualifying as a Solicitor in 1995. Upon qualifying Michelle moved to a regional law firm where she progressed into the role of Partner and Head of the Firm's Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team.

Michelle joined FBC Manby Bowdler in 2020 as an Associate in the Personal Injury Department and is a member of the Firm's Serious Injury Team. In 2023 Michelle was promoted to the role of Senior Associate. With over 25 years’ experience working on behalf of claimants with life changing injuries, Michelle handles a wide range of high value, complex and catastrophic injury claims, and has particular expertise on advising clients on chronic pain conditions involving Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Fibromyalgia as well as Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

Michelle is an Accredited Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and in 2024 was appointed as an APIL Regional Coordinator for the West Midlands. Michelle is also  a member of the Specialist Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
