Rachel is a Partner and Head of the Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department at Coodes Solicitors based in Cornwall & Devon. She acts for clients in complex, high value clinical negligence cases including birth injuries, complex brain injuries and/or neurological damage, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgical errors, misdiagnosis, substandard midwifery and nursing care and fatal claims including psychiatric care issues.
Rachel is accredited under the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accredited Scheme and is also a Senior Litigator and Accredited Clinical Negligence specialist with the Association of Personal Injury lawyers. She is also a member of INQUEST.
Rachel is recommended in the Legal 500 and as ‘Up & Coming’ in the latest edition of Chambers & Partners. Rachel has also recently been shortlisted as a Finalist for the PI Awards for the Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year category.
Rachel is kept busy with her 2 daughters and makes the most of living by the coast in Falmouth.
