Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation
Myles Taylor trained at Worcester College, Oxford and obtained obstetric training posts in Bristol, Norwich and Cambridge before moving to Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital under the guidance of Professor Nicolas Fisk.
At QCCH, his research into monochorionic twins and also non-invasive fetal ECG resulted in him obtaining a PhD. He then completed subspecialty training in fetal & maternal medicine and also his general gynaecology training. Although his research and publications suggest that fetal medicine and obstetrics are his main interests, he has also managed to expand and develop his gynaecology skills, particularly in urogynaecology and has a busy clinical practice in this discipline.
He has an active medico-legal practice. His particular areas of expertise include general obstetrics, fetal medicine, multiple pregnancy, intrapartum
care and general gynaecology.
