Martin Stear

Martin Stear is a graduate chemist, Chartered Occupational Hygienist and Registrar of the BOHS Faculty of Occupational Hygiene. He has over 30 years’ experience working in consultancy and for the HSE as a Principal Specialist Inspector with a technical policy role for organic chemicals and carcinogens, including asbestos. He left HSE in 2004 to set up a small independent consultancy, advising companies on all aspects of occupational hygiene and asbestos and he is regularly called upon as an expert in criminal prosecutions and civil litigation.
