Philippa (pronouns: she/her) joined Leigh Day in October 2018 as a paralegal in the clinical negligence department. She is now a trainee solicitor in the personal injury department assisting with product liability and consumer law claims.
Philippa has a background in mental health and clinical negligence law. In her previous team, she worked on a wide range of inquests and clinical negligence claims and assisted settlements for injured people in cases involving birth injuries, consent, wrongful birth, perineal tears and other medical negligence. In her current team, she is assisting on cases where damage has been caused by defective and unsafe products.
Philippa has an LLB in European Law (French) from the University of Warwick, an LLM in Human Rights, Justice and Conflict from SOAS, University of London (distinction), and a LPC LLM from the University of Law (distinction).
Philippa is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
