Hokman was a pharmacist prior to qualifying as a solicitor in March 2014. He joined the Adult Brain Injury Department at Bolt Burdon Kemp in 2019. Since then, his caseload comprises of a wide range of complex brain injury claims in both PI and clinical negligence.
As well as experience running catastrophic brain injury cases, such as a construction site accident which settled for £6.5m, Hokman has developed a specialism in functional neurological disorder (FND) claims. He has been successful in taking over cases from solicitors who have not recognised FND symptoms and undervalued the claim. In a recently settled case, the previous solicitor initially valued the claim at no more than £10,000 and just under two years after being instructed the claim was settled for over £250,000.
