Thomas Beamont

Thomas Beamont has a busy practice in all areas of Chambers’ work, with an emphasis on clinical negligence and personal injury (including abuse) acting for both claimants and defendants. He also often acts in inquests and inquiries, and in public law and human rights claims, particularly in relation to healthcare provision.

Tom's caseload includes acting in very high value claims as a junior for several silks in Chambers, and he accepts instructions in complex matters in his own right. He appears regularly in the High Court, County Court, and Coroners Courts, and since call in 2019 has appeared twice in the Court of Appeal.

Since 2023 he has been ranked as a 'rising star' in Legal 500 in both clinical negligence and personal injury: "Very clear and focused. Understands key concerns and team player." "Calm under pressure. Particularly good with clients in difficult situations. Always reasoned advice and clear advocacy."
