Kevin Grealis

With over a quarter of a century's experience, Kevin is highly regarded in both personal injury and clinical negligence. Specialising in ‘cross-over’ cases, Kevin has vast experience in handling catastrophic injury claims, having frequently securing multimillion pound settlements for his child and adult clients.

Kevin’s cases are varied, though he has a particular expertise in spinal and brain injury claims. He is often engaged in ‘cross-over’ cases where multiple defendants are involved, such as the case of Kylie Grimes v David Hawkins and Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Kevin also has experience working with clients who lack capacity, including children and clients under the MCA. Kevin is a skilled negotiator and advocate having negotiated settlements through round table meetings or formal mediations.

Chambers 2017 states: “Kevin Grealis is well known for his ‘specialist hybrid’ practice, specialising in claims where there is an accident resulting in serious personal injury and then subsequent clinical negligence in the injured parties’ treatment. Sources praise him as a ‘very industrious’ solicitor who ‘knows the law very well’.”

The Legal 500, 2013 describes Kevin as “meticulous” with “a great eye for detail.”
