Bio:

Colin Green is the Clinical Director of Physio Matters Neurological Limited and has an impressive track record as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist, with over three decades of experience in rehabilitating adults with neurological injuries or disorders. Since 1992, he has honed his expertise in neurological physiotherapy, addressing a diverse array of conditions such as Tra Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Ataxia, and Parkinson’s Disease.

 

Throughout his career, Colin has worked in many specialised neurological settings, including Acute Neuro-Wards, Acquired Brain Injury Rehab Centres, and Community Services within healthcare institutions including Huddersfield NHS Trust, Oldham NHS Trust, and Priory Highbank Rehabilitation Centre. In 2000, he founded Physio Matters and now leads a team of almost 20 providing high quality neuro rehabilitation in a wide range of creative and engaging settings.

 

Colin’s professional pursuits extend beyond conventional practice, delving into the intricate dynamics of the ‘therapeutic alliance’ between physiotherapists and individuals with brain injuries a subject he explored extensively during his MSc dissertation.
