Zoe Fisher

Dr. Zoe Fisher (BSc, PhD, DClinPsych, PGDip, CPsychol) is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and leads the Community Neurorehabilitation Services at Swansea Bay University Health Board. Additionally, she serves as an Associate Professor at Swansea University's Health and Wellbeing Academy.

Zoe has developed influential transdisciplinary frameworks to enhance health and wellbeing, translating them into innovative interventions within the health service. Her work has been recognized by Swansea Bay University Health Board, Health Care Research Wales, and the Welsh Government, leading to significant grant capture and the expansion of clinical services.

She has published extensively in peer-reviewed literature, including book chapters and articles, and has conducted research using diverse methodologies, from qualitative studies to multi-site RCTs. Zoe also founded the GENIAL science research group, collaborating with clinicians and researchers to develop novel theories and interventions.

In her talk, Zoe will give you a brief overview of the core components of wellbeing and things you can do to practice and build wellbeing.
