Sarah Brumpton

Biography

After spending many years practising as a specialist in civil litigation acting for clients in connection with RTA's, accidents at work, disease and clinical negligence Sarah now heads up the CICA National Team at Irwin Mitchell helping clients who have been the victims of crimes of violence in the UK obtain compensation from the UK Government for their injuries.

 

The team represent a wide cohort of victims including those who have been the victims of violent attacks, abuse including sexual abuse, terrorism and human trafficking. Sarah was involved in a landmark case to establish that grooming was a crime of violence. The team regularly represent victims at appeal and have a specialism representing children who have non accidental brain injuries.

What Is The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?

 

Seeing the positive outcomes for a diverse range of clients coming from very difficult situations and seeing others whom I work with grow and develop into confident professionals.

 

What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?

 

The fact that through a career in law I would be able to represent individuals seeking fair and just compensation for accidents and assaults.

 

What Do You Do Away From The Office?

 

I walk my dog, play tennis and spend as much time as possible with family and friends.
