Marco Sinisi

Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon, The Wellington Hospital, London

Mr Sinisi has been a Consultant for over twenty years and was appointed Head of the Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit at the esteemed Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital based in Stanmore, London, in 2011. He also works in the private sector at The Wellington Hospital. 

The Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is the UK’s leading centre for the treatment of surgical disorders of peripheral nerves and receives complex and tertiary referrals from throughout the UK and overseas. It is also a major training centre on the London orthopaedic rotations. 

Mr Sinisi runs a busy clinical practice for both adults and children, which focuses upon the surgical treatment and ongoing management of the most complex nerve injuries and tumours. He has over 2,000 children currently under his care who have sustained brachial plexus injuries at birth. 

He holds an Honorary Associate Professor role at University College London and is actively involved in teaching. He has published on both peripheral nerve injuries and nerve tumours in peer-reviewed journals. Mr Sinisi continues to research, publish, and lecture in this space and is a recognised global authority on peripheral nerve injury. 

Mr Sinisi has undertaken medicolegal work for over fifteen years and has a substantial practice. He can provide expert advice on breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis. 

He takes direct instructions from solicitors and also works through a number of specialist medicolegal agencies. 

Mr Sinisi’s current claimant to defendant ratio is 60:40. He also accepts and has completed a number of joint instructions.
