About Michael Roberts
Michael joined the clinical negligence department at Leigh Day in 2013, where he works exclusively for patients and their families in obtaining justice and compensation following poor medical treatment.
Michael deals with a wide range of cases involving serious injury and death, including brain, heart, and spinal conditions, obstetric and birth injuries, missed or late diagnoses, and inquests. As an amputee himself, Michael also has a special interest and insight into cases involving limb loss or severe limb impairment.
Michael has been actively involved in the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), helping to organise and run APIL events and taking part in APIL campaigns to improve the state of the law for injured patients and their families. As an accredited Senior Litigator of APIL, Michael is recognised as an expert in his field.
