Master Gidden

Master Gidden qualified as a solicitor in 1991, having experience with a commercial law firm in Birmingham and with a common law practice in Worcestershire. 

He later served in the Government Legal Service in Birmingham and London as a prosecutor and public law litigator before taking appointment at director level to lead over 250 staff across a range of contentious and non-contentious in-house legal services in 7 different locations. 

Master Gidden was appointed Master of the Administrative Court in 2012 and held this appointment on a full time basis until 2016. His experience of Asbestos List claims dates back to 2016. He has sat predominantly in KBD since 2018 and has been on the editorial board of Butterworths Civil Court Practice since 2016.
