Hannah is a Solicitor in the Restructuring and Insolvency Team at Irwin Mitchell LLP.
One of Hannah’s specialisms is to provide bespoke advice to Insolvency Practitioners regarding a wide range of personal and corporate insolvency matters, including how best to realise assets within an insolvent estate (including within bankruptcies and liquidations).
Hannah often advises on contentious insolvency matters and has significant experience in running a variety of court claims and applications to assist officeholders to realise assets and to conduct their duties in respect of the insolvent estates they manage.
Hannah also specialises in providing bespoke advice to personal injury lawyers as to the implications of their clients being subject to formal insolvency procedures (including bankruptcies) and the obligations / options their clients may have as a result. Hannah has experience in liaising with various officeholders, either as clients or in their capacity as officeholders of a client’s insolvent estate and is therefore able to advise on these types of matters from both sides.
Hannah also has experience in providing tailored advice to private clients who may be encountering insolvency issues themselves, or who may require advice about a matter where the other side is insolvent, thus enabling the client to make the best decisions as to whether they are able (and have sufficient merits) to proceed with their proposed claims.
