This webinar, presented by Gordon Exall looks at:

  • The employer’s duty to prevent employees being exposed to violence from others
  • The employer’s liability to employees and others when acts of violence are committed by fellow employees

It looks at the relevant principles and case law in relation to these issues and the practical steps that practitioners can take to assess the prospects of success. 

Particular issues considered are:

  • The duty of care
  • HSE guidance
  • When health workers are attacked
  • Disputes between employees
  • CICA payments and the duty to repay if civil claims are successful
